| Emergency Planning Guidelines 02/13/03 | |
| Current international
tensions and their uncertain impact on security in Indonesia should
prompt all Americans here to review their security profiles and
begin prudent planning for various contingencies that may arise in
weeks ahead. The Indonesian government has guaranteed the safety of
Americans in Indonesia and has developed plans to respond to any
threats that might arise. It is also heartening that recent protests
have remained non-violent. Nevertheless, no one can predict with
certainty what reaction international events in the next few weeks
might provoke inside Indonesia. see inside! | |
