The Information Resource Center has access to major on-line databases in the United States, including:

EBSCOhost MasterFile-ELITE 
EBSCOhost MasterFILE ELITE provides full text for more than 1,000 general reference, business, consumer health, general science, and multi-cultural periodicals. In addition to the full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for over 1,183 periodicals. Cumulative full text for over 1,183 periodicals dating as far back as 1985. · 88,000 biographies, 76,000 primary source documents, 116,000 Images. This database is updated daily

Factiva.com, access to over 6,000 full text periodicals as well as major news sources such as Reuters wires, the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times. In many regions, Factiva provides strong host country news.

Lexis-Nexis, provides full-text access to U.S. federal legislative/regulatory materials (United States Code Service, United States Public Laws, Code of Federal Regulations and the Federal Register) and access to 2,300 full-text information sources from U.S. and overseas newspapers, magazines, journals, newsletter, wire services and broadcast transcripts;

Galenet, provides access to several databases, including: Associations Unlimited (database for approximately 144,000 international and U.S. national, regional, state, and local, nonprofit membership organizations in all fields), Database of Publications and Broadcast Media (descriptive and contact information for more than 63,000 newspapers, periodicals, newsletters, directories, television and radio stations, and cable television companies in the United States and Canada), Research Centers and Services Directories (detailed descriptions of some 26,500 U.S., Canadian, and international university-related and other nonprofit research organizations), Biography Research Center, Expanded Academic Index; etc.

ProQuest Direct is a database of over 4,000 indexed titles and over 2,000 full text journals with images.
