The U.S. Embassy in Jakarta is seeking an individual for the position of Dispatcher in the Transportation Office.
BASIC
FUNCTION OF POSITION:
The
incumbent ensures day-to-day dispatching is accomplished on time, with proper
vehicles, assignments, driver availability, and routings.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:
NOTE: All applicants must address each selection criterion detailed
below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item.
1. Completion of High School is required.
2. At least three (3) years experience as a dispatcher, driver or similar experience is required.
3. Level III (limited knowledge) in speaking/reading/writing in English is required. Fluency in Bahasa Indonesian is required.
4. Must be in possession of a valid Indonesian driver’s license (SIM-B1) and able to drive all vehicle types, and have a good knowledge of motor pool operation, or similar dispatching, and scheduling experience.
5. Must be able to work effectively with both expatriate and national employees of the mission at all levels.
6. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office and typing skill.
