The U.S. Embassy in Jakarta is seeking some individuals for the position of FSN Guard, in the Regional Security Office (RSO).

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION:

The Incumbent serves as a non-uniformed guard who monitors mission facilities and personnel, collects information, evaluates and retains. Incumbent is required to operate sophisticated cameras and equipment to take detailed descriptions, reports to supervisor and RSO. Incumbent is required to be available to work all shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

1. Completion of High School diploma is required.

2. At least two (2) years of military, police or security related experience is required.

3. Level II (limited knowledge) in speaking/reading/writing English and Level IV (fluency) in speaking/reading/writing Bahasa Indonesian is required.

4. Must be proficient in use of cameras, video recorders, communication equipment, and operate a variety of motor vehicles and scooters and respond to mission emergencies.

5. Must be willing to work different shifts, and able to make concise written/verbal reports. Must be observant of unusual conditions and able to respond to emergency situations. Must be able to follow instructions, work alone and as part of a team.

6. Possession of valid driver’s license (SIM A and SIM C). Must be able to operate different vehicle within one year.
