The U.S. Embassy in Jakarta is seeking some individuals for the position of FSN Guard, in the Regional Security Office (RSO).

 

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION:

The Incumbent serves as a non-uniformed guard who monitors mission elements, collects information and provides detailed reports back to Embassy personnel.  Incumbent must have strong written and verbal communication skills and must also be proficient with sophisticated cameras and video equipment.

 

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

NOTE: All applicants must address each selection criterion detailed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item.

1.      Completion of High School diploma is required.

 

2.      At least two (2) years of military, police or security related experience is required.

 

3.      Level II (limited knowledge) in speaking/reading/writing English and Level IV (fluency) in speaking/reading/writing Bahasa Indonesian is required.

 

4.      Must be proficient in use of cameras, video recorders, communication equipment, and vehicle operations.

 

5.      Must be willing to work different shifts, and able to make concise written/verbal reports.  Must be observant of unusual conditions and able to respond to emergency situations.  Must be able to follow instructions, work alone and as part of a team. Must be able to operate different vehicle.

 

6.      Possession of valid driver’s license (SIM A and SIM C).
