Ambassador Marciel briefs American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore on investment opportunities in Indonesia

During his January 19-20 visit to Singapore, Ambassador Marciel took the opportunity to speak on U.S. engagement in Asia and investment prospects in Indonesia.  He delivered remarks at an event hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore that included one hundred attendees, including many U.S. business representatives. 

In his remarks, Ambassador Marciel contrasted the opportunities for and challenges to doing business in Indonesia, urging interested U.S. businesses to pursue possible investment opportunities.  Attendees at the event asked a variety of questions, from details about EXIM financing procedures to the Indonesian investment climate to rule of law.
