Indonesian Students Receive U.S. Education Grants

– U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Academic Programs Alina Romanowski (second from left) presents the AMINEF Opportunity Initiative Grant Certificates to Willy Bayuardi Suwarno (far left), William Oktafbipian Mamudi, and Erna Sitinjak. Opportunity Initiative Grants provide economically disadvantaged students with funding to cover testing and administrative fees for study in the U.S. Willy Bayuardi Suwarno obtained a Directorate General of Higher Education (DIKTI) scholarship for study at the University of Wisconsin, Madison; William Oktafbipian Mamudi and Erna Sitinjak obtained scholarships from Western Michigan University and Northwestern, respectively.
