JAKARTA – U.S. Ambassador Cameron R. Hume (center) and Minister
for State-Owned Enterprises Sofyan Djalil (center left) with the St.
Francis of Assisi school choir at the U.S. Embassy’s Fourth of July
Celebration at the Four Seasons Hotel in Jakarta. The school was
attended by U.S. President Barack Obama when he lived in Jakarta.
U.S. Independence Day marks the anniversary of the signing of the
Declaration of Independence on July 4th, 1776.

U.S. Ambassador Hosts “Fourth
of July” Reception

JAKARTA – U.S. Ambassador
Cameron R. Hume (center) hosted more than 600 guests at the Fourth
of July reception at the Four Seasons Hotel. Guests such as former
KPK Commissioner Erry Riyana Hardjapamekas (left) and current KPK
Commissioner Chandra Hamzah (right) were in attendance. The
gathering celebrated the 233rd anniversary of American independence.
