U.S. and Indonesian Attorney Generals Sign Anti-Corruption Task Force Agreement

Jakarta, June 9 – U.S. Attorney General Michael B. Mukasey (left) and Indonesian Attorney General Hendarman Supandji (right) signed a $750,000 Letter of Agreement to establish an Anti-Corruption Task Force within the Indonesian Attorney General’s Office. U.S. Attorney General Mukasey is visiting Indonesia June 8 - 9 in order to meet with senior Indonesian officials regarding U.S.-Indonesia joint efforts to combat terrorism and trans-national crimes.
