AMINEF Signs New Fulbright Agreement with Indonesian Government

Jakarta
– DIKTI (Directorate General of Higher Education) Director of Human Resources Muchlas Samani, Director General Fasli Jalal, with American Indonesian Exchange Foundation Executive Director Michael McCoy after the signing of the agreement to launch the DIKTI-Fulbright Scholarship Program on Friday, May 29, 2009.  The DIKTI-funded Fulbright scholarships will allow up to 400 Indonesian scholars to pursue MAs, PhDs, Doctoral Dissertation research, and Post-Graduate research (“recharging”) in the United States over the next four years.  Founded in 1992, the American Indonesian Exchange Foundation (AMINEF) is the bi-national commission handling Fulbright and other U.S. Government academic scholarships in Indonesia.
